The following alternatives would also work with Delta Chat:

- VPN (VPS)
- an overlay network, such as [Tor](https://snowflake.torproject.org/), [I2P](https://i2p.net/en/docs/overview/faq/#proxy_other) or [Yggdrasil](https://github.com/deltachat/AndroidYggmail)
- a [SOCKS5](https://github.com/proxifly/free-proxy-list) proxy or ssh tunneling
- an [HTTPS](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_censorship_circumvention#Software) proxy
- [Shadowsocks](https://shadowsocks.org/)
- [Psiphon - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psiphon)
