## Expected behavior

It’s proxy settings in app’s settings menu.

## Actual behavior

It’s no any settings suggested to proxy.

## Example Images

I think the best similar feature design realized in Telegram.

Are you talking about Android?

Which communications do you want to proxy? the communication to the e-mail server and/or also all http-requests? (the latter are used for discovering “autoconfig” values from e-mail providers).

Can you post a screenshot of how proxy-settings look like in telegram?

Which proxy-software or proxy-providers are you using or recommend for testing?

Yes, sir, I’m talking about Android app.

I want to communicate to any services through socks5 proxy server.

This is now solved. You can set SOCKS proxies, including Tor. See:

> [@DC desktop proxy settings](https://support.delta.chat/t/dc-desktop-proxy-settings/3936):
>
> Actual behavior When setting up new account in DC desktop, there is 3-dotted button in top right corner, which brings the single menu when pressed: ‘Proxy’. That button is easy to miss; also, on creation of another account it is not clear, is proxy already set up or not. Expected behavior Replace 3-dot on the button with words ‘Proxy not set’ or ‘Proxy enabled’. PS: Also there is a minor bug: when proxy is set, user may copy it’s URL by pressing copy button, but ‘protocol’ part is missing, so…
