Hello everyone. I’d like to suggest grouping chats, specifically personal chats, groups, and channels. This would be most convenient, as I have a lot of contacts and delta chat groups, and I always have trouble finding the contact, group, or channel I need. It would also be possible to create a specific group for my own purposes, where chats, channels, or contacts could be collected.
Telegram uses this, and it’s very convenient. They call it folders.

> Many of our users rely on Telegram for their work and studies, even more so in the last weeks. To make sure everyone's chat lists can handle the increased load and you don't miss important messages, we're introducing Chat Folders today.

See

> As we begin to use Delta for more and more of our communication, the list of chats becomes longer and harder to curate and maintain. I’m also bringing feeds and telegram ‘chats’ into Delta now via Bots which is adding a lot more chat groups very quickly. Proposal: Some way of grouping chats into folders (or groups) so that various types of chats can be combined into one place. ie. Family chats in one group, Work chats in another, etc. Would also be nice to set notifications by group as well…

> Hello, just like in my Android XMPP client the list of 1:1-chats and group chats becomes confusing quickly once populated. Having a lot of 1:1-chats alone can make it so. So my feature request is that groups and 1:1-chats get separated in the Delta Chat clients. UX wise their should be two tabs in the title bar on which the user can click on to switch between the two lists. Additionally the user could be enabled to switch between the two lists by swiping left/right, which is a gesture that’s so…
