Hi, for some reason my account stopped working, I think that the credentials were disabled from the server ([hotmail.com](http://hotmail.com)), the account were created using the Oauth2 flow and I found no way to re-run the setup flow on an existing account.

The problem is that I don’t want to remove the account and start from scratch because I want to keep my key (the encryption key) and the messages (not all of them are on the server).

Is there any way to run the Oauth flow again?

first, Delta Chat does not support oauth2 for outlook/hotmail, and never did. you may be able to log in using a password, but you might need a per-app-password, i do not exactly know the compliance of outlook. please let us know if you know more about that, and maybe even update [provider-db/\_providers/outlook.com.md at master · deltachat/provider-db · GitHub](https://github.com/deltachat/provider-db/blob/master/_providers/outlook.com.md)

then, reconfiguring an account while preserving the email address is usually fine, this is eg. the way to go if you changed the password on the server - **but please do a backup before,** no guarantee

reconfiguring _and_ changing the email address is currently experimental, [Introducing Automatic E-mail Address Porting (AEAP) - Delta Chat](https://delta.chat/en/2022-09-14-aeap)

Well, I might remember it wrong in that case, but it seems that outlook does not work anymore, even with per-app-passwords (I’ve tested several times with no success). I will do the PR to fix that…
